Do I need special GPS hardware installed in our delivery vans?
No special hardware required! Drivers simply install the WillpeX mobile app on their iOS or Android smartphones. The app uses the phone's native GPS to provide turn-by-turn routing, live location broadcast, and photo/e-signature proof of delivery. If you already have OBD or hardwired GPS trackers, WillpeX can sync with them too.
How does the route optimization work with multiple vans?
When you upload or import your day's orders, WillpeX analyzes the delivery locations, delivery time windows, van cargo capacities, and traffic conditions. It instantly computes the most efficient route for each vehicle, balancing the stop count and minimizing total kilometers and idle drive time.
Can our customers track their van in real-time?
Yes! WillpeX sends automated SMS or WhatsApp notifications with a branded tracking link. When the customer opens the link, they see an interactive live map showing where the van is, an estimated arrival time countdown, and their driver's first name.
How does proof of delivery (POD) work?
At each stop, your driver can capture the recipient's signature on glass, snap a photo of the delivered goods/parcels at the door, and scan package barcodes. The proof is timestamped with geo-coordinates and instantly synced to your dispatcher dashboard and invoice records.
